That is, until I tried to get new license plates in Texas and realized the bank didn't complete all the paperwork before it changed names and it took us three or four years to actually get the title in our name. As in--we JUST got it in our names and I paid it off before we got married. So, almost FIVE years. I hate paperwork. Also, I never got my diploma.
